This device eats more battery when off than on. 24 hours off and battery totally discharged, it booted, shut right off.

It also has an odd startup, I must hold power and volume up until it vibrates, then quickly release, continuing to hold it goes into fastboot. In Android before UT flashing, the power button alone booted device.

It will not turn boot when USB cable is connected either.

Other than that it functions quite well

I was wondering if anyone else has seen this. Would a re-install help?

This issue is also seen on OP6. It seems like the device does not really power off when you select power off. The screen turns black but the device is still somehow running and draining power. (also see here: OP6 doesn't shutdown or reboot )

There is a workaround to be sure the device goes actually off, but this is a very cumbersome way. Unfortunately I don't know if the device maintainer is actually working on this.

Reboot into fastboot mode and power off from there, making sure the USB charger is not connected. To save battery when not using, leave it on but switch on aeroplane mode and the battery lasts longer (but if it is your daily driver, no point in doing this).

Good to know, it may be corrected in a future update, it actually does better leaving it on. I am thinking of moving to use it daily, I'll see how it goes.

I shut it down from the fastboot menu and it booted normally with just the power button, thanks again for all inputs here.
