Unable to port Ubuntu Touch on OnePlus 6. The bootloader is unlocked, but the installation program does not recognise the device. After manually selecting the device and connecting in recovery mode the phone Displays crashdump mode error message. After restoring the device using MSM download method, I tried 3 times and the end result is same. Can anyone help me on this. Thanks

You seem to be asking about installing / flashing, not porting. Porting means creating the installation files, making a custom version of UT available, and that has already been done.

I have moved your topic to the device section for this device. I would also suggest asking for help in the Welcome group on Telegram. https://t.me/WelcomePlus That is where most installation help is provided.

          Is currently using an Op5t
Also owns an Op1, a BQ E4.5 and an Xperia X, as well as a BQ tablet and a Pinetab2. Please, someone... make it stop.

I had the same thing on OP6T, rocket2infinity answered in Telegram, Welcome and Install page on Sep 13th, but here it is in a nutshell : "No need to install it. Just boot into TWRP after unlocking bootloader and setting USB permissions under developer settings in Android. Then wipe cache and data. Reboot to fastboot, then run installer without rebooting back to Android"

            It worked for me.
