You could always try a test by installing the RC update channel from system settings and checking if the issues remain. If not either stay on RC or go back to stable and check again.
AFAIK there is noe way of going back to an older OTA. Also the BQ should be fine on OTA-24 as said in comments here https://forums.ubports.com/topic/8346/ubuntu-touch-ota-24/7

@lakotaubp Why is there no possibility to downgrade to OTA-23? If the system fails at something, it should be foreseen. Now I can't navigate with the phone. Slow down videos. Some programs crash.

@cliffcoggin I already stated that I made a comparison between "Nexus 5" with "OTA-24" and my "BQ Aquaris E5 HD Ubuntu Edition" with "OTA-23". Nexus seems to be out of memory or display driver fails; BQ E5 is going great, there you can see that this latest update has been. They are going to force me to throw the phone away.

@stropbu No we are not. Just try re running through the installer again (without the wipe option)that way you will have a clean install or try RC from system settings as I mentioned earlier.
The issues you are having I have not seen reported elsewhere or during the testing before the OTA was released. Which was quite a long time for this OTA. A comparison between two different devices running two different OTA's does not help solve the issue.

@lakotaubp "Settings" / "Updates / "Gear" (Top right) (Update settings) ... There are three options: 1 ) "Auto download" / 2 ) Channels / 3 ) REINSTALL ALL APPS... < CLICK > When doing this step, "Cinny" no longer crashes (before this step, she crashed). The browser "Morph" there is no way to uninstall, install. It is not in the store. I I wonder if it would be possible to somehow reinstall "Morph". Maybe it would fix the problem? I also cleared the cookies and cleared the browser. I rebooted, did several tests.

@stropbu Morph comes as part of OS so the only option is in Morph settings itself. Try Reset Browser settings? which you might have done.
the only reinstall would be to use the installer to reinstall stable or system settings-updates- Channels and try RC then go back to stable if you wanted but RC is fairly reliable.

humm just tested N5 on RC ( which equals to OTA-24) and don't see issues there. Maybe yes try to install again. Or/And clean up things

I have just updated my Nexus 5 to OTA-24 and have seen no changes in behaviour. As usual the UT team have done a good job.

@cliffcoggin Confirms what I was thinking, not the OTA in it's self so much as how certain apps work with it or a slightly off install to start with. Lets see.

@lakotaubp Maybe you use the phone to do tests, I use it daily. Everything I said above, it keeps happening, I can't use the browser to see web pages like " t.me/s/xxxx " where "xxxx" is the telegram channel... Browsing "Morph" makes a lot of lag . Videos very paralyzed, scroll practically does not work. He gets hung up. Will it be on pages " t.me/s/______ " ? (Note: I don't use telegram, to read telegram channels, I used "Morph" until the day I installed "OTA-24". 5 minutes before, with "OTA-23", it read perfectly, without lag.

@stropbu To do a clean install. I have to get data from the phone. Photos, browser settings, notes. Etc... Right now I don't have time. I will do it later. I'll comment.

@stropbu In the "Mozilla Firefox" browser, you can enter the registry editing settings via the address " about:config ". Any way to get into the "Morph" settings?

@stropbu What I mean by a clean install is to use the installer but do not check the wipe user data box. You can keep all your data, photos etc (though make a backup just incase). That just removes anything done in between or added. You will be left will the latest version if UT.

Is there any program in the store to make a copy of ....? -Browser Favorites. -Notes (Program "Notes" by system default). -Settings of other programs. I know how to do it manually, in fact, maybe I'll make a tutorial on the forum for other people to read. Thanks for your interest.

@stropbu No there is not afaik so far, but please go ahead and write a tutorial if you wish. I am sure people would be glad of one.
There are already instructions (you can use the search function to find them if you wish) on the forum for that somewhere and it is a common request but another look at it might be of use.

@lakotaubp Bq Aquaris E5 HD Ubuntu Edition, Ubuntu 16.04 (OTA-23), Ubuntu 16.04 (OTA-23), "Morph" starts to fail also on pages like " t.me/s/xxxx " where "xxxx" is the telegram channel... Browsing "Morph" closes. Every 10 times, 3 closes, I get "Tab has been closed, close or reload". Could it be something that has changed in the navigation? This is rare.

@stropbu I have installed "Lineage Os" on the phone "Lg Nexus 5" (it has been impossible for me to install "Ubuntu Touch" again; The camera fails. It must be the motherboard of the phone that is damaged, which gave the above failures .

I apologize for believing that it was the "Ubuntu Touch" operating system.

Note: I hope one day to be able to change the motherboard of the Nexus 5 Lg phone, when I do I will reinstall ubuntu touch, but I must assess the expense, I already bought a new battery, the old one being fine, and the camera, I already spent money, buy one motherboard means between 30 and 60 €uros more.
