Power consumption of Sony Xperia 10
-
I use a Sony Xperia 10 (Dual Sim) and would like to try Ubuntu Touch. During a test with SailfishOS, I learned that WLAN consumes a lot of power. After six hours, the battery was empty.
Is there any experience with this smartphone and UB Touch? Does the battery last the whole day with normal use?

D on't have a Sony device, but use SailfishOS on other devices. It does consume power somewhere and the battery life is not as good as Android - bear in mind Google and it's vendors spend a lot of money and time to sort out power management which costs money. Sailfish and other non Android OSes are run by enthusiasts, so things may be a bit rough around the edges, battery life being one.
So to cut to the chase, battery life between charges is usually reduced on UT compared to Android.

With a long-lasting 4.500mAh battery, the Xperia 10 III gives you all the power you need to enjoy your day. And with the 30W Fast Charger XQZ-UC1 20, you can quickly top up when you're running low on power.

Yeah, you're right, that sounds like chatGPT answering.

Edit : just qwanted it and found "XQZ-UC1 20" is a Sony charger, so, maybe he is a Sony bot, but i doubt they see UBP community as a good place for their add plan to rule the world ^^
