LIbertine apps wont start - black "X11 support" window
-
I've installed UT Fossa on a Pixel 3a XL, and then installed a couple of apps via Libertine (e.g. Firefox and Kodi).
None of them will start. They all:
- show a window with a logo and a spinning circle
- then open another window, called "X11 support", which is completely black. (The keyboard also appears.)
Any ideas? Are there any logs I can check?

@jackduckworth What update channel are you on? Stable is rather old now. A new update to that channelbis due soon. But in the mean time you could change to devel and see if you have the same behavior there.

@arubislander, you nailed it, thanks.
I switched to "20.04 Development" and everything seems to be working.
(They look like Desktop apps running on a phone, but I don't know why I expected anything different. And I've heard there are workarounds.)
Cheers

Can someone (@jackduckworth, @arubislander?) tell me how to switch to the development channel from the stable channel?
I am running 20.04/arm64/android9plus/stable, build 2023-W13, on a Google Pixel 3a.
Thanks.

@enohpu You should be able to open settings from the sidebar, scroll down to the bottom and on the right you should see 'updates', click on this. In the next screen click on the cog wheel top rigjt to enter settings. The second option down should be 'channels', click on this and you should see options for '20.04 Development', '20.04 Release Candidate', and '20.04 Stable'. Select the one ypu want.
Checking through the button presses to get the details right I see there is a new RC available, I'll just go and check that out!
