Android 12 Problems ?
-
Hi, I would like to flash UT on a Volla 22, VollaOS 12.1 within the installer. Is this possible, or do I some how have to rollback to Android 11? How would that be possible ?

@Pingu I've looked at the device page for you. It says:
Unless device specific instructions are provided by the porter, please follow these general steps:
(...)
Install the required Android/stock rom version ¹
(...)
¹ Devices generally require a specific version of Android/stock rom to be installed. This depends on the halium version the port is build on. For example, if the port is based on halium 9, make sure you have Android version 9 installed before running the installer.
(...)
Built on Halium 11.0
Halium 11.0 devices are devices that originally ran Android 11.Taken together, that gives me a strong impression that this device originally ran Android 11 and that it needs to be running exactly that before you try running the installer.
Would you disagree? -
that's what I thought. I'll better not try it. Let's see how to get it to Android 11 ... Thank you.
Or is there a chance for a Android 12 port shortly ? I can wait.

I don't think that is coming any time soon.
Best of luck, and let us know how it goes! -
Thanks. I think I will try to flash it with the SP Flashtool. I am going to use the mimameid 11.1 zip from the Installer cache (volla-11.1-20221017-stable-SPFLASH-mimameid.zip). If this works, I hope UT flashing with installer should work...I have to think about it some days.

In the Volla Forum a solution is discussed how to get back from Volla 0S12 to Volla OS 11.

@Pingu ....it should be no problem, to go back to VOS11 via SP Flashtool and after via Ubports installer to UT 20.04 Focal (the follow the screen)
