    • Xperia X compared with compact.

Hi, I use the compact for a long time now. It works fine. Camera sometime half green, but after reboot ok. Even with camera half green, pictures work out ok. Sometimes mobile internet connection fails, put off/ on flight modus helps... Now I tried Xperia X, with a star in devices.io 100 % COMPLETE. Sorry, no - it has internet connection issues as the compact. Brightness of the screen is outside in the sun even worse than the compact. USB C is also an advantage of the compact. The size should be interesting for many people. My Nexus 5, oneplus one, oneplus 3 are a lot more stable as the Xperia X'sen... You shouldn't rate them "complete " with a star. They are good! but not so good, as you wish, oneplus / nexus seem to be better.

This guide worked nice and easy just on the Phone, no twrp, rollback update here... https://nerdschalk.com/how-to-roll-back-oneplus-6-6t-to-android-9-pie/

...the downloaded rollback file has to be renamed...you need to delete the ".jar" then update local.

    • RE: Bootscreen Picture

@stanwood well, thanks. Maybe the porters can do it within a new update. I don't want to risk to much. To use fastboot in linux is fine with me, but it should be safe. Otherwise its ok like it is and thanks to all (su)porters of the FP4, it's a nice device.

@nero355 , hi I would try twrp.me to get a new recovery and then in twrp recovery format, delete all...system, data, cache, everything. Still in twrp recovery reboot to bootloader and use the installer.... no waranty - my way. Twrp for oneplus6 here ~ https://twrp.me/oneplus/oneplus6.html
Good Luck. Hello World... if I am wrong, let us know, thanks. I like all oneplus.

    • RE: Possible new user with a couple of questions for the community

I think the best working Phone right now is the oneplus one. Oneplus 3 and Xperia X are verry good in performance, but still tricky...but good for a daily driver, if you can handle some small bugs. Give it a try, UT is worth it.

    • RE: UTBootscreen

@MrT10001 ok thanks. I think I won't try it. But maybe a maintainer would like to do it to make it look a lot more UT like. Just to think about.

    • UTBootscreen

Hi, is it possible to get a UT Bootscreen like on onplus 3, or oneplus one. Somthing like "powerd by ubports" instead of Android? I do not like that original bootscreen.

    • RTC Alarm starts Phone

Hi, is it possible and of interest to implement an RTC alarm with boot up in UT? I mean that I turn off my cell phone overnight and then it automatically turns on (boots up) at the set alarm time and wakes me up. I like to turn my cell phone off at night. Like the old dumbphone used to do that.

Hardly anyone seems to do that anymore, if I ask around.

I hope I have expressed myself clearly. RTC = real time clock.

    • Convergence FP4

Hi, any tipps for convergence? Works kind of ok, but in menues i can not scroll up and down. Not with scroll wheel nor with arrow keys. In Morph i can scroll the page, but not in setting menu. ( looking for desktop mode - can not reach it). In Cinny no scrolling between messages possible. The scale size overall is to big in my opinion. Is there still work ongoing? Would be nice to use it easily as desktop pc alternative.

P.s. After using convergence the apps i did put to the dok manually disappeared from the dok after stopping convergence...?!?

But thanks overall for this very good port.

Hi, is there a possibility to get rid off the Android Boot Screen? Fairphone powered by ubports would be nice like on oneplus 3 for example. Any ideas?
