@Pingu It works for me (on Noble), but I had to fiddle around a bit... It wasn't detected by default, but by going into the F10 boot options on the PC I tested and unmounting the ISO then reactivating it, I was able to boot the PC from the phone. Check how your BIOS is configured too.

@MrT10001 yes, I have done all mentioned possibilities. So I will leave it on 20.04. I try it maybe next year again. Thanks for your reply.

@rubencarneiro Can you give infos about that ? You were some time ago involved in doing logos for devices, how can it be done now, someone should fill an issue on device git ?

@stanwood well, thanks. Maybe the porters can do it within a new update. I don't want to risk to much. To use fastboot in linux is fine with me, but it should be safe. Otherwise its ok like it is and thanks to all (su)porters of the FP4, it's a nice device.

@gandalf and at all, thanks for your informations and tips. I am using it now and works fine. I just need firefox sometimes, so battery drain is no problem for me.

@Pingu ....it should be no problem, to go back to VOS11 via SP Flashtool and after via Ubports installer to UT 20.04 Focal (the follow the screen)

Indeed, Nexus 5 is still a « promoted device » and is a mostly used smartphone with UT. (And it works really great )

Thanks. Well it's only intended to be a working solution until a better native app is made. Likely Kaidan will fill that spot in the future. But I'll likely still make some improvements such as a nicer login page and a dark mode. Given the limitations of the current HTML5 app support in UT, I have shelved more advanced plans. I just hope the switch to IndexDB that is happening with ConverseJS 6.0 isn't going to break it on the old qtwebengine UT uses.
