@beyolf Thanks for reply. I'm gonna try V11.0.10.0.QJWMIXM Global image first while waiting for the 12.0.3.0.QJWMIXM. I'm gonna update to results.

Update. If anyone encounter with the problem i had which is can't make/receive a call after going back to android from Ubuntu on Redmi Note 9S. Try "V11.0.10.0.QJWMIXM Global image" this image fixed calling issue for android.
I'm gonna install "V12.0.3.0.QJWMIXM Global Image" and try Ubuntu again as @beyolf suggested above.

Thank you very much for the info mate! Good luck with your tests and let me know if i can help with something!

The issue is fixed. I installed "V12.0.3.0.QJWMIXM" image to the phone, then installed UT with UBports installer. Now I can make/receive calls. Thanks to @beyolf.

I am glad that the issue is resolved! Enjoy UT and let me know if you experience any problems.

That is very but very strange that you can call with version 12.0.3.0. May I ask which region of the country you are from? I have also tried to install Ubuntu Touch several times. Also tested many versions. Some worked and others did not. I made it up to version 12.0.5.0. Of course I also have versions of Android that run to use UT or other systems. Otherwise, good luck to UT. If you are missing apps, you can create your own with Webber. Of course they are not real apps but they are very helpful.

@DPITTI it is not strange at all, his version of miatoll is
curtana
, your version isjoyeuse
. 12.0.3 has problem onjoyeuse
NOT oncurtana
.The different miatoll devices versions work best with different android ROMs and the Android ROMs are device specific, because there are differences in the vendor blobs between the different miatoll device versions.
-
Okay, I wasn't aware of that. I'm just not a developer
-
@DPITTI
no problem , that's why I am explaining it.Also because of the reason above I asked you which one is your device, when you reported having problems, so I would know which android ROM to recommend you. For
joyeuse
the know working well ROMs are:12.0.2 and 11.0.3. this are the ones which most of the
joyeuse
users reported that are working stable with UT focal.P.S. Just an advice when you are unsure of how something works better ask for clarification instead of jumping to conclusions.
Have a great day

Hi thanks for this good advice, I know that Ubuntu Touch will be good. I'll keep an eye on the news channel, it's definitely better. On the subject of Bluetooth and FM radio, I will probably have to accept restrictions. Even with alternative Android roms there are problems. If I want to go back to UT I would have to downgrade to 10 again
