        Hello

        I got happy over Loqui's existance as whatsapp on UT doesnt work anymore. Both are made for Xenial but installed on Focal. And I just Dont know why its not ported yet. Without complaining, I just dont know how big of a process it is to port between Xenial and Focal.

        Now to the real question. When I run the Loqui, the only chatt service available is Jabber. No whatsapp or facebook or anything.

        And I wonder if it is due to my Xenial app on Focal install. or is the app broken in general?

          @Rinkeby Loqui on UT has not been a viable WhatsApp client for some time now.

              @Rinkeby Also looking on their Gitlab Repo, it would seem there hasn't been any activity in 4 years... That is a long enough time to be sure that the WhatsApp integration no longer works, unfortunately.

                @arubislander

                Yeah. Its's a good source for this as I have an eye on Volla's progress there. Thanks for the tip.

                Yet, really sad when it would have been a dream app. I hope we could donate or something.

                  @Rinkeby Unfortunately there is nothing to donate too, I think. It is simply no longer being maintained. Someone could potentially fork it of course, but playing catch up with the WhatsApp api that is hostile to third-party apps, exposing users to being banned from the platform, I don't think that is a very attractive proposition.

                    Yes,

                    I sort of meant the service of a whole, having everything in one app. But to the look of it,the hostility from all made it imposible.

                    however. I still hope for a whatsapp update. its just the UI that got messed up resently. A pretty good separate app, but only for xenial still.
