Installing Focal.....
-
I am getting ready to put focal on my devices (running stably with Xenial at the present).
Is the readme up to date as such on Gitlab, i.e it is a year old, but still followable?
Or are there any tweaks I have to make so that I don't hose a very good and working system?

@MrT10001 Maybe you could wait, some more days.
I am just in the process of updating the official repo and notes.
After that, I would say, you are safe to go ahead.I also want to bring the focal build for the X605 to the installer.
But that involves creating a devel channel for it on the ubports system-image-server first, which is well known to take its time too.Another side note:
The camera is still not working in focal.
Maybe someone else is able to find the cause, but I currently don't want to invest more time into it. -
@Luksus Thanks for the update, I will hang back on updating.

@MrT10001 I've just updated the readme and there is already a new dev-build available.
If you want, you can give it a try:

@MrT10001 Sorry, I just saw, that I missed some commits in the offical repo.
So, another build is started now...

@Luksus Well that was painless apart from me forgetting I was on my Win11 machine and have to put ./ in front of the fastboot command..
Kept all my data too - bonus!
