I have too many Linux phones in my drawer. A new Gigaset GS5 Pro (6 GB RAM) with UT 20.04 (OTA-4). Shipping to Germany (or EU).

@sven
How did you install UT on a GS5 pro (just released one or two weeks ago by gigaset) ?!? -
@Keneda Yes, it is a new device and hence very attractive for some UT fans
But it was released in 2023-06. It is basically a Gigaset GS5 with more RAM (6 GB instead of 4 GB), which can make a difference. -
@sven
Maybe I confused with GS5 Pro SE which just appeared one week or two on french site https://www.gigaset.com/fr_fr/smartphones/
On same time normal GS5 price dropped by 100€Anyway how did you install on it, and what port ?
Everything works ? -

I used the image for the Vollaphone 22 in the UBports installer.
Everything works ?
I could not find a deviation from the supported feature list (https://devices.ubuntu-touch.io/device/mimameid), but have not tested all features. Any special feature to test?

Oh, yes. As they switched to Android 13, the SE device might not be a good choice for UT?
The hardware specs seem to be unchanged. -

Only more ram and the camera changed to 64 Mpx on SE. On Pro non SE, I don't know I never saw it on french site (only GS5 and GS5 Lite, and now Lite is gone and Pro SE is here).
BTW I bought 3 GS5 Lite for my family (running android, updated to 13 recently) and those are very good devices for that price range, given the bonus fact it is manufactured in Germany.
