Help with the Installation of Ubuntu touch on Indian Redmi Note 9 Pro

For the installation of Ubuntu touch, do I have to use the Global MIUI ROM or the Indian MIUI ROM to install Ubuntu Touch on my Redmi Note 9 Pro Indian Version? Can I flash the Global ROM directly using Mi Flash tool, on Windows for my Redmi Note 9 Pro? And do I have use a recovery like OrangeFox installed, If I install Ubuntu Touch will it remove the OrangeFox recovery?

@Username112 You need the Android 10 version for your device. The link to download it is here which will take you to here. Then download the correct firmware which is the last Android 10 (India) - use the fastboot version if you wish, but if you use the MiFlash tool make sure you do not accidentally lock the bootloader - see the switch on the bottom right Miflash tool.
Once you have installed Android 10, boot into it, set it up and re-enable developer options and then USB debugging. Open up the installer, attach the device with a USB cable and follow the prompts on the phone screen and UT installer.
No need for OrangeFox recovery or TWRP.
Make sure the bootloader for the device is unlocked.

Just one correction , the UT port of miatoll devices is based on Android 10 not 9, so Android 10 ROM is (India) need to be installed before UT.

@beyolf bro, the ROMs you listed are for joyeuse, I have curtana, so do I have to flash the Indian (region-specific), or the global ROM for Ubuntu Touch to work on my device?
