I'm trying to install Ubuntu Touch 20.04 to Note 9 pro.

At first step installer asking me for necessary actions, and I'm checking all three options: wipe data, resize partitions and third one (don't remember what is it, but it is checked by default).

After this installer is wiping data and trying to reboot into fastbootd mode. Phone is stopping boot here and just stuck at white Mi logo at black screen.
I'm trying to reboot it manually into fastboot mode (which is not a fastbootD) so installer raise error about booting into fastbootd and failure of partition resizing. I'm ignoring it and installer try to download some files and restart device (in normal mode? not sure it is not described). Device is restarting and stuck at Mi logo again. Finish.

So the first question is how to boot into fastbootd mode manually? Do I need to do any extra things to activate this mode? I didn't find any information about it.
The second question is do you have any advices based on my information? Should I provide any other details that will help to determine problem?

Originally I used custom recovery with LineageOS installed, but after first device bricking I flashed original global MIUI ROM v14.0.3.0 via fastboot. And retried to install Ubuntu Touch with same problem (freezing when trying to load into fastbootD)
