i used my radio frequency meter to measure the data being sent and received by the phone. when a picture is sent from another contact to the ubuntu touch phone(nexus 5), the phone shows it is receiving the information, but doesnt seem to want to display it. as i mentioned above, the phone sends picture messages without a problem to other contacts, and also texting works amazingly. seems to be the display that might be the problem and not the carrier?? i have also tried all apn settings, with all the same results. but the phone is definatly receiving information when a picture is sent to the nexus.??? interesting.

@tricky what do you use to edit the script files. ive tried so many different ways. and still read only??

i have the same problem. on virgin mobile as well. did you ever find a workaround to receive pictures through text??

have touch installed on nexus 5 and fully updated to newest version. texting works well, and i am able to send pictures to contacts with no problems. but cant seem to receive a picture sent from a contact.

any thoughts or work arounds??
