I found that creating a single LADSPA module sink removes one of the only advantages PulseAudio provides, which is that it's able to detect whether headphones are plugged in and use a different stored volume for the ALSA sink depending on whether the headphones or speaker are in use.

I'm wanting to know also. Can UT be used as a ultra portable linux system with a Bluetooth mouse and Kbd ? Or do I have to stick to a regular ultra portable laptop ?
