Your suggestion worked. There were no problems. I installed UT just fine and my install worked better with an ethernet connection. Thanks very much for the reply.

Android downgrade not possible in flashing attempt
I have a 3a and am trying to install UT. I have the .002 factory image as described. OEM unlocking and ADB is enabled. The bootloader is unlocked and shows on the screen as unlocked ("Device state: unlocked"). ADB Devices shows my phone. I use the ADB sideload command in an Ubuntu terminal using the filename recommended. I am trying to downgrade the Android version as described. The percentage of completion ticks eventually to 100% then I get an error:
E: Update package is older than the current build, expected a build newer than timestamp 1636136601 but package has timestamp 1560995145 and downgrade not allowed.
Did I miss a step?

RE: Pixel 3 (will 3a installer work?)
Did a port attempt get somewhere on the Pixel 3?

RE: Sony Xa2
I have the Nexus 5 now with UT.
- How does UT for Sony XA2 compare with the UT version of Nexus 5? What does not work on XA2?
- Would I use the Sony Xperia 10 (kirin) version to flash the XA2? I saw the installer on https://devices.ubuntu-touch.io/
- Would the Pixel 3a be better than the Sony XA2 right now? What does not work on the Pixel 3a?
Thanks.
