I've tried Ubuntu touch ~2 years ago, but had to revert to Android as 5G hotspot is my main use of a phone. Unfortunately the supported features page doesn't mention 5G at all, so I'm not really sure any work on it has been done.

Could you let me know if 5G data can be activated?
