If we are uploadling a file from an app like TELEports and we need to switch to other app, the uploading of the file on TELEports stops.

This has benefits, but at the same time is not so convenient. Is this a design path to keep, or, just a technical limitation that may be solved in the years to come?

OnePlus 6 / 6T has support, there's already things you can make to bring back your calls, but we did not merged yet into the repo. We're investigating the root of the problem. On OTA-3, if you receive or make an call and you go for an app that uses the microphone will not capture sound. DialerApp remains ok.

Ubuntu Touch is not dead. As you can see here: https://gitlab.com/groups/ubports/-/merge_requests?scope=all&state=merged

A lot of work happening.

OnePlus 6 / 6T is a community port. The main developer maybe haven't find time to improve it specially in the Focal Fossa 20.04. Although, there's already MR's in 6 / 6T repo waiting to be reviewed, and making 20.04 better on it.

Do you agree 20.04 to be a kind of "first release" of UBports of Ubuntu Touch?

@ubportsnews Hi, the move into focal base is one of the biggest step forward that the project is making. It’s a huge achievement! In your opinion, the addition of a device to the UBports Installer should met requirements like: proven to be stable; highest score of compatibility with UT; porter motivation. The move to 20.04 is an opportunity to introduce this type of change or others?
