@aimar Excuse the slow reply. I was trying to avoid updating too, as my device was already on the required Android version, but eventually when nothing else worked, I did upgrade. I still didn't get the SMS. @pleoni I forgot that Whatsapp was given as an option, but that does seem familiar now.. perhaps this could be a solution? Not that I want to get Whatsapp, but maybe I coils start an account with a cheap, temporary phone number just for unlocking the phone.
