RE: I might have just bricked my device
@mario-ch Thank you for your reply. Ineed, it had. I managed to finish the whole process without any further problems. I repeated the same procedure over again, without any changes, and this time it worked, and now I have UT installed. It seems like I still don't have Wifi working, but other than that, it seems to be OK. Thank you for your help.

I might have just bricked my device
Hello everyone,
I am seeking help with 1) unbricking my xperia X, and 2) installing Ubuntu Touch on it.
So back to the beginning. Being tired of Android, I wanted to give UT a shot. Bought cheaply a new Xperia X. After some time figuring out how to unlock the bootloader, I managed to to it. I was following preparatory steps described here: https://devices.ubuntu-touch.io/device/suzu/
I did every single one except for backing up TA as I figured I won't need that. Then I downloaded Ubports installer for Windows, and started the installation process. At first it went relatively smooth, but then I got to the point where instlalation files were supposed to be copied to the device, and then I started to see errors about device connectivity. I've restarted this over and over again, and it was all the same.
On the display of my phone I've seen Ubports recovery, and I was playing with various options, including factory reset (and I did not back up TA). But it did not help at all. I tried couple of times to turn the device off, but it would keep rebooting to UBport recovery. So I figured I'm going to do this via 'adb shell reboot -p'. After doint this, my phone is frozen at Sony logo. I can't do anyting at the moment, not even turn it off.
Is the cause lost already or there's still hope ?
