I think this would be a really good idea to make subforums. Also from a contributor perspective. I cannot follow a thousand-message-thread where "everything" is discussed (which also applies to almost all our telegram channels). But I have no problem scanning the new thread titles and jumping into those threads where I might be able to contribute (or am interested in the outcome myself)

@bharadwajgoutam5 I don't think it will ever be possible. Those technologies are proprietary and I doubt we can port these solutions to UT. At least not in the near future.

I read here since more than 6 months but when I saw ReCaptcha I did abort the registration at the forum. ReCaptcha is really terrible and I also try to avoid Google services. I am still not happy about Akismet but willing to accept it which is the reason why I did now finish the registration. It is very exiting and awesome to see what happens at UBports to get the choice not to use Android or IOS and get back some privacy.

@AppLee I decided to install ubuntu just because it was simple and anyone can do it, and this will help users to keep their data safe, unlike the android with its propriety and a bunch of hidden backdoors

Have you tried gols on desktop ? Garmin on linux sucks... https://medium.com/@euri10/gols-garmin-on-linux-sucks-f1f065f7529a It can upload activities and daily monitor, no download. Possibles issues: You have to mount your watch on the phone (I don't know how to)/send fit files over bluetooth (I'm stil trying to pair the phone with my car )... I'm pretty sure ubports can run python scripts ( as gols is)... Once you solve the issues you are done qith tracking info. But, I don't know nothing about notifications. Salut!
