@tobsend This issue was for the OP6 not for the Pixel 2. So it might no be related ; please open an issue on your device's repository if it can be confirmed by another Pixel 2 user.

I hope more people are interested--the faster and easier the data input, ultimately, the greater overall adoption of this competitive architecture will be.

@keneda It is the most current thread from the active Dev so I would say yes.

This is a known issue and it is shown in the demo videos and mentioned in many posts about the first broken 6 and 6T GSI release. It may be fixed in the new release but no one on here other than the developer has manged to install the latest version.

It's a sideeffect of the GSI - the way forward is to fix the CI images to have a proper 64 bit build.

@totalrando It won't. You can re-lock the bootloader only through fastboot oem. On older oneplus devices flashing OOS could also lock the bootloader, but i haven't see that happen on OP6 yet.

Well, the point of CI is that it builds for you The architecture thingie is caused by the GSI, the CI version doesn't have these issues.

@totalrando That does seem strange and also not correct. My guess is you will need to try again. Since you now have the bootloader unlocked correctly you could try the way that is recommended rather than mine. My script is just an automated way of doing the steps provided here plus a second script to flash the critical. You could try following the manual steps to slow it down and not get stuck with the script hanging on failures. (They talk a lot about danger but they are just covering their butts)

With the update you mentioned, it sounds like 6/6T are right around the corner for inclusion. Sadly, I have yet a few days to wait for the power of the FAJITA. The switch to an OTA based build (that you can flash with fastboot) is work in progress. I've got a recovery booting (but lacking adb and there's mountpoint issues), and there's some associated issues with the regular boot now as well.
