        Steps to reproduce:
Open firefox from libertine container (installed v59 FROM https://www.dropbox.com/s/ogdut56m2i0k0t9/firefox_59.0.2%2Bbuild1-0ubuntu0.16.04.3_armhf.deb?dl=0)
Go anywhere with a longer URL
touch the adressbar rather at the end of the URL
        KEEP backspace pressed
second empty black window is appearing
(sometimes also third window with only the adressbar is appearing)
You can savely close those two windows and keep on working with the original window.... Still major annoyance

        Tested on 108,110,112,114

Any clue how to improve this behaviour?

@killerbee hmm I don't like to run .deb packages downloaded from random places. Can you try with any of the Firefox versions here? http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports/pool/main/f/firefox/

@advocatux Problem with those firefox versions is they crash on startup 😞 or are not installable due to version conflicts of libc...

The deb i referenced comes from
            https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/1711337
namely James Donald ALAS its a private build... Just for testing I would feel it to be safe enough...

@advocatux So you will try it out? And any hint on where to report bug to?

@killerbee I don't know, I'm already testing a lot of things, but if I find the time, sure.

If you're sure it's a Libertine issue, you can file it here https://github.com/ubports/ubuntu-touch/issues but if it's a Firefox issue, you should file it here https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/

This https://askubuntu.com/questions/827798/how-to-troubleshoot-libertine-x-apps#827914 can be also interesting for you.
