So, I recently found an old tablet I used to use and thought it would be a cool project to set it up as a Ubuntu Touch device. Thing is, I have no idea if it will work since it's such an old device and not listed as a supported device.
Does anyone know if there's a chance it'll work or any ways to check if it can?

@neidhardt see the porting documentation https://docs.ubports.com/en/latest/porting/introduction.html

As porting any device to Halium is the first step, see if your device meet the minimum requirements http://docs.halium.org/en/latest/porting/first-steps.html

OK, rip. Sucker's only got a kernel version of 3.0.8. Thanks for the assist.
