Hi, Just wanted to check what the best way to go about developing UT apps. Is there a virtual machine that can be downloaded?

Are there any recommended reading guides/wiki pages also?

@FishFingers44 hi, probably the easier way to start developing apps for UT is https://clickable.bhdouglass.com/en/latest/

Edit: "we" have too a group in Matrix for people starting to learn coding (#ub_bootcamp:matrix.org).

so Running clickable create after installing the first bits returns this

@FishFingers44 You can find the repository of Clickable here : https://gitlab.com/clickable/clickable/issues

Maybe you will have better audience by posting an issue there

@FishFingers44 Have you already checked Ubports documentation ?
                http://docs.ubports.com/en/latest/index.html

Depending of your projects, but if you want to develop a "standalone" applications and Cross-platforms, i would recommend you to learn Qt QML with QtQuick Controls 2 first, so that you can test easily ( and quickly ) your app on your desktop.
Beware that ubuntu touch ships Qt 5.9.7 ( not 100% sure)
Clickable is the shortest path for a quick "hello world" on UT
