-
Hello,
On a brand new (refurbished) Fairphone 2,
In the App store the app "Desktop apps" doesn't appear.
I can find it in with browser ( https://open-store.io/app/libertine-scope.ubuntu )
If I try to install I get "this app is not compatible with your system"
"This app has access to restricted system data, see below for details"
And then down I read (if I re-typed it well enough):AppArmor profile
ubuntu-scope-network! Read Paths
@{HOME}/.local/share/libertine/, @{HOME}/.local/share/libertine-container/user-data/, @{HOME}/.cache/libertine-container/, @{CLICK-DIR}/puritine/! Write paths
/{dev,run}/shm/lttng-ust-wait-*I have a similar problem with another app too I tried, Syncthing...
System - About: OS Ubuntu 16.04 (OTA-9)
Ubuntu 16.04 LTS-armhf (20190427)So, first chapter of the manual after installation, Daily use - Run desktop applications ... To display and launch applications you need the Desktop Apps Scope which is available in the Open Store. ... I did not go very far before getting stuck...
Thank you for your help.

@yvesK that scope is installed by default. Unlock the screen on your device, swipe from the bottom, and it'll show up.
Edit to clarify: those instructions were made with Ubuntu 15.04 in mind but now that scope is available by default on 16.04, that's why it says "this app is not compatible with your system" when you try to install that version from the OpenStore.

@yvesK it should be preinstalled. Go to the 'apps scope' and do a swipe from the bottom. There you can activate the 'desktop apps scope' by pushing the star.

Oh Indeed I see Thank you!

@yvesK btw I've just made a PR to update that documentation (https://github.com/ubports/docs.ubports.com/pull/223)
