camera flash not working on oneplus one bacon

Subject says it all, really... The flash was working before I installed ubports 0.2.6-beta (fresh install over android). Flash is set to always on in camera app, but no flash. Also, in the "battery dropdown", I can toggle the flashlight and it works fine. So probably a software issue.
Syslog says nothing, does anyone know if this is a known bug, or how to solve it?
