Also the installation still gave me an error. By using this I can flash the system and boot, and then unzip the rootfs to /

@lapinus, did you modify the partition table of your device when installing another system?

@UniSuperBox Also, what files do I need to download and install from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-touch/ubuntu-rtm/14.09/daily-preinstalled/pending/ ?
I think that if I install UbT and then use the normal ubports installer the /cache partition will be resized by ubt, correct?

No, the partition will not be resized for you.

Jan has put a lot of work into installer 0.4.x to fix installation on the Nexus 7. Maybe give it a try: https://github.com/ubports/ubports-installer/releases/tag/0.4.1-beta

@UniSuperBox Now that I checked I did execute a script that did reduce the cache size from 500 mb to 260 to get more /system space because I couldn't install gapps. https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=76278047&postcount=19

@lapinus, okay, you will need to return your device to stock partitioning before you are able to install Ubuntu Touch.

@UniSuperBox I did. The installer doesn't really work it just hangs on formatting cache but the ubuntu-device-flash utility worked. Now I'm running it and I love it. So since you are here, why when I add a .deb to Libertine it says that it's installing but then it removes it? what am i doing wrong?

@lapinus First thing when doing Libertine stuff is to go to battery settings and set Lock when idle to never. Then set it back when you have finished this stops anything messing up the install of the container or apps. I have found just search by the app name normally works rather than by .deb or whatever.
If you have to many problems try deleting the container and starting again. Hope this helps.

@lapinus swipe right on the container name and tap the red bin that appears.
