Went here to check my codename device and there are no devices here
      https://devices.ubuntu-touch.io/

Having a multitude of problems but one big bug is that I can't install the OTA update. It tells me that I have downloaded it, when I hit restart and install nothing happens.

Wanted to re-install UT but ran into problems with update installer since I don't have the udev rules installed. dont't have the time right now to do it and I am not sure of my codename - mako for a Nexus 4? Is that right? Need that info for the udev rules

I have to say, this has gotten way more complicated that the first time I installed UT

my m10fhd will not reboot to install updates, i found if i manually reboot to recovery,it will go to the recovery screen with the ubuntu logo, and run the update. IE. press on/off vol/up etc, or what your device needs .

Assuming your current Ubuntu Touch is functional, in Parameters / About, I believe your device codename should be shown right below "Ubuntu". For my OnePlus One it shows OnePlus bacon.

No 'parameters' on my phone but under System/Setting/About/OS/Device build description there is a mention of mako. So that should be it

Sorry, my system is French and I translated the French word, I'm pretty sure it's Settings in English.

@mooncosmique Yes your device is Mako and yes that part of the website is still not working correctly.
As a work round on the device name thing, start the installer if it does not detect automatically choose it manually and the device and codename will be shown before you start the install.
