ubuntu touch image error
-
How do I reinstall ubuntu touch on nexus 5 when original install failed and it says this each successive time I try to install. I also came up with push file error no room
-
@jezreel Can you boot to recovery and use ubuntu/android actions to delete cache.
-
I am only new to ubuntu straight from the Windows environment. When I get to ubports recovery screen what do I select thereafter please. My apologies for my ignorance
-
@jezreel You should see android actions and ubuntu actions if I remember correctly. If you go into say Android actions you should see a clear cache option select that and then factory reset after that. You will loose any data on the device by factory resetting though. Then just as an extra measure do the same in Ubuntu actions. Reboot and try again. Similar options will be available if you still have android recovery as in factory reset clear cache.

The device has never been used by me because the original installation of ubuntu touch was stopped part way through the nexus 5 does not seem to workdoes not seem to work
-
I have done the factory reset and have tried to do a reboot but 15 minutes into it and I still have a google screen trying to reboot

Some times your device will have filled up with copies of UT, try wiping before trying install again.
If you have 16g of space 3 attempts its full ,if you are not getting a good wipe ...
