All,
We need tester for the Bluetooth prior to release an update :
- Read : https://docs.ubports.com/en/latest/porting/installing-16-04.html
- install : https://www.twrp.me/devices/oneplusthree.html
- Rootfs : https://ci.ubports.com/job/xenial-hybris-edge-rootfs-arm64/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/out/ubuntu-touch-hybris-xenial-edge-arm64-rootfs.tar.gz
- System & halium boot : https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/17eIsuxxcbbALniQMIHdZQTthqet7cywK?usp=sharing
If you are not confident, please don't do it

@ernest is the Bluetooth working in generally, e.g. connecting to a keyboard and bluetoooth speaker? Or is there also the calling through headset enabled as well? (Handsfree calling)
-
Yes from what i've tried.
I'm not a bluetooth user anyway, but i've tried in my car everything works + - good. -
@ernest fantastic news! That's a first Halium 7.1 port to be able to use handsfree. Great work. Thanks.
-
Why ? the Santoni device and the Xperia X have also bluetooth working based on 7.1.
-
@ernest not Bluetooth calling AFAIK
-
@Stefano
I didn't perform extensive test on that... and it's also depending of the bluez version on which ubports is planning to upgrade. -

@ernest
Bluetooth works, but with varying degrees of success, only one speaker outputs sound from two. It connects to both without any problems.
A chandelier that is controlled from an Android application does not connect. When connected to another phone, it works like a column, does not transfer files. -

You need this app to do that : https://open-store.io/app/ubtd.fourloop2002

@Keneda
Unfortunately, OpenStore doesnβt have this application on the phone, and installing from a file gives an error. -
Does Ubuntu Touch support fingerprint and NFC module?
-
Is the performance getting better on the oneplus 3? I found the performance to be awful after a few hours of use. I had better performance on a Nexus 5 which is a pretty old device.
-
@FBrain Fingerprint not working yet.
-
@bsdfreak I find mine is working well much better than the Nexus5.
-
@Lakotaubp Weird, i'll try to reinstall then.
-
@bsdfreak I would say it's much, much better than Nexus 5. Op3 is still work in progress though.
-
Getting better day by day.
-
@ernest awesome! I'll also give it a try. I can't wait to have the basic functions to be stable.
-
