used the development channel due to the use of the anbox, switched to the stable channel everything returned to normal but the anbox disappeared

@MrSureNot
Classic move.
Switching channel imply flashing another system image so it's kind of a failsafe.Glad it worked for you.
Can you please try using the "Topic Tools" to set this thread as a question and then again in this menu choose mark as resolved.
This new feature helps people finding answers on their own when someone else had the same issue.Thanks.

Thanks.I just outlined the problem for this week, all updates went well except the last one, and suddenly the brightness was no longer regulated and there is no automatic adjustment .... now I’m thinking how to screw the anbox again

With this method of returning to the working state, the wifi is not working, which means that you need to reflash the phone with a new one
-
Have you tried simply rebooting the device? Problems with wifi and auto brightness are common for me after an update, but rebooting always fixes it.

I have the same behavior on my N5 and I'm not able to turn the screen off by pushing the power button. I have a flip case and I am able to turn of the screen by closing the case. The screen is still illuminated though. It feels like there is something inherited from the edge channel, were these issues have been present for a while.

yes back to RC for me. The team is aware of the issue and working on it
-
Same with me. N5 dev 1584.
Also switch "automatic brightness" is missing.Thanks for your work!

@lduboeuf nope back to edge for me, these issues was the main reason that I have been using the devel channel for quite some time now and there is no reason for me to stay on devel anymore. And yes this is my daily driver so I probably going to need to carry a charger and/or powerbank in my pocket . @uwahl YES, great work, the developers are looking onto other things in the edge channel and things are moving, Keep up the great work you all.
