PinePhone battery protection

Is there, in the PinePhone project, at hardware and software level, the wish to implement battery protection system? I'm thinking about that 80% charging limit that happens mostly during night time when people leave it connected overnight.

That is something I heard about in here, about the battery indicator I guess...

Features available in app depend on how phone is supported.
On mine, autostop for charging is not implemented for exemple, but pinephone should be full supported, if not now, later. -
