You've already an open thread about this topic.IIRC Ubuntu Touch uses QT5.7, so check out the QT's documentation for this release.
Newer features have to be ported in order to be used.Be sure to check UT's developer guide, there is a lot of useful things to know.

@AppLee It is currently using Qt 5.9. Depending on what one wants to use exactly, it might not be available on UT though.
