[Edit: Finished] Forum maintenance 2020-10-02 1900 UTC
-
Hello everyone,
At 1900 UTC on October 2, 2020, we'll be taking the forum down for some maintenance and upgrades. This should not take more than two hours, full service should be restored by 2100 UTC.
During this time, attempts to connect to the UBports Forum may fail altogether or be met with a "Maintenance in progress, please try again later" page.
Sorry for any inconvenience, we will try to get it back online as quickly as possible!

All done! Please post in this thread if you notice anything different after this transition of the forum.

Starting from previous update, and not fixed with update, i can not select thread to mark as read in unread section anymore. When i click on avatar i am redirect to this user.
If it's a feature (and not a bug ) how can i select multiple messages to mark them as read? -
@manland
On this page : https://forums.ubports.com/unread
I could select any thread by clicking the tick icon when mouse hovering the OP's avatar.
Then I could mark them as read...The behaviour you're describing is what happens within a thread, on each post.

@UniSuperBox
Yumi's disappeared from the browser tab... Perhaps a design decision? -
-
@AppLee
Ah okay - a page refresh sorted that. Thank you. -
@AppLee Yes before this update it was worked like that but now I don't find this option:
-
@manland
Well that's strange because it's working for me on both windows and Linux with Firefox.
What's your browser/OS ? It probably has something to do with your settings (screen size, resolution, ...) -
@AppLee
Ubuntu 20.04 / firefox 81
But the same with UT stable / morph
Maybe related to a parameter on my account!? -
@manland
I suspect the responsiveness of the site.
If you have a small screen 11" for example, it can trigger the tablet mode and mask/change/adapt the UI (and some features)...There is a good explanation but it's hard to pin point.
Edit: I just tested on my phone (UT with the webapp) and it works fine too.
Maybe a parameter in your account but I couldn't find it...
