Create an account with evernote.com, add that account in System Settings "Accounts" on your Ubuntu Touch devices - and then use the Evernote app on Windows/Mac, or use Tusk, NixNote or other options on Linux to sync your UT devices with the rest - https://itsfoss.com/evernote-on-linux/

@totalsonic Thanks, I will check.

@totalsonic I created an evernote account and set it on my Ubuntu Touch, as an account. I see in the System Settings, that Notes has access to this account.
But no synchronization is happening and I see no option to trigger it.In the Notes app there are small cloud icons, crossed with a line for every note. I don't see option in the app to start syncronization, or even create a note to evernote.
What am I missing? -
@molehill - are you on the Pinephone? Online Accounts are currently not working correctly with it. Otherwise, I am not sure why things aren't working correctly for you.

@molehill - there is no button for syncing to Evernote accounts n the Notes app, it should happen automatically in the background after it is setup, and can be refreshed when the app is re-opened.

If you: don't sync notes but store them on your device ; and want to backup your notes to restore later on a fresh install of Ubuntu Touch (where you chose to wipe all):
- In 16.04, notes are stored here:
.local/share/com.ubuntu.reminders/@local - In 20.04, notes are stored here:
.local/share/notes.ubports/@local
You can use File Manager app to create a backup without need for terminal:
- Open the app and next to Restricted Access click Unlock and enter password;
- Go to the location above;
- Copy the @local folder by sliding it to the left and then click the copy icon;
- Paste it somewhere in your Documents folder (from the menu, top corner)
- Attach your phone to your PC and copy the backup folder to your PC.
Once you've got the got a fresh install with Notes app:
Follow the above steps in reverse and replace the newly created @local folder with your backup folder.(I know the OP asked this question long ago, but this answer might still help someone with same issue).
- In 16.04, notes are stored here:
