WiFi certification problems

Hi. I 'm experiencing WiFi problems. My sysadmin told me, I have to do the configuration this way:
http://wlan.urz.uni-halle.de/handy_smartphone/ubuntu/
[I 'm NOT trying to use the WiFi of "uni-halle.de".]The certificate seems to be valid.
But for I am not an expert, I cannot assure this.Sadly, the process won 't finish for quite a while.
How long does this take? Do I have to wait for five minutes?Any suggestions?
