I would like to know if the Sony xperia xz device can be installed Ubuntu touch via the official installer, and if we have forecast for ota-16 20.04 ???

@raphaelhobaik Hi and welcome, please can you not post the same question twice it will not get answered quicker or differently. Work towards 20.04 is being worked towards for the first half if this year and ota 16 should be a few weeks. As for XZ that is not in the installer yet though there is a post in the Porting section äsking for help on an XZ model.

I installed it and it works properly for the main functiuns. however, cameras are not working, wifi accounts are saved but you cannot access to old one after a reboot meaning you have to re enter the password after a reboot. finger prints doesn't work either. The screen and it inclination works perfectly. The sms system works perfectly. The telephone system is sometimes bugging not cutting off the conversation but it is not so frequent. mms doesn't seem to work... internet works good.
for the installation there is another to do after using ubtouch installer, I can't remember what but it is explain in the tutorial.
I hope the 2 main problems would be solved (cameras and wifi) as the other one are not frequent and not annoying that much.
I have not enought abilities to solve them so I hope someone would find the answer to this!
I use UBTOUCH since february now as a professional phone as my work is in health and I want to protect my patients privacy. And I am quite happy with it. Sony makes quite reliable phone of good quality. So it is a good combinaison.
