Looking for photo models. Yeah, I know, but it's true.

Hi. We are currently running an add campaign in the Netherlands as a first trial before branching out to other countries.
We are seeing from the statistics of our add campaign that there is more response from the "I am a student and I want to learn UT development" and the "I like to solve difficult problems".
For these 2 groups we would like to put an introductory web page between the campaign banners that people click on and the join-us page. And for this I am looking for real humans.
Actual community members. Normal people (well, as far as that is possible for members of our community ).
People who's photo we can show on this web page, with a quote describing their motivation why they do what they do (keeping in mind please the two directions mentioned above) and their name or initials.
Please drop me an email at jeroen at ubports dot com if you like to participate. I know we are all modest and all but it seems to be difficult to find 2 actual persons for this. Personally, although I have worked on open source for the last 20 years, but at the age of 57 I'm ugly AF ( ) and hardly qualify for this.
Please help me out here and drop me an email.
Greetings and salutations,

How dare you, sir!
The slant in responses toward students is extremely interesting to me. I've noticed that our community skews younger than most in FOSS, and I think that has something to do with partially catering to the interests of Android communities. I think that Android tinkering is what's getting today's high schoolers / secondary schoolers into FOSS, the same way Ubuntu did for me just a few short years ago.
I hope some of those people are able to take part and help you out.

@jeroenbaten I would be interested, but I'm outside the age group that you are looking for (closer to your own) and I don't code which seems to be what you want. If you ever want a picture of a non-coding happy user, feel free to hit me up. I can't promise to look normal though!

Progress report.
I think I found an excellent model for the developer category! Excellent!
But this means I am still looking for somebody who can pass for a student.
So, who is still studying? Let's say 18 to 25-ish?
You don't have to actually be studying of course. I think a lot of community members are life-long learners (I know I am).
But looking student-age is what we are currently looking for.
Come on guys. Contact me at jeroen at ubports dot com and we'll talk.
Greets!

That's good progress, congrats!
And I'm pretty sure I don't have to tell you this, but just in case... please consider diversity. After all UT deserves a broad audience! -
Would have loved to help you out but I'm sorry to say I don't qualify for these categories either. There must be some correlation here

Nothing wrong with old fat ugly people. If you want normal people, that is exactly what you get.
-
@moem I really wouldn't want to have it any other way.
-
@cliffcoggin I definitely qualify as such . But seeing the banner targetet at students yields results I want to follow that for a bit.
-
@jeroenbaten I sent you an e-mail
