@haimeh Thank you. Glad to help and be part of the community .
Please spread the word for ATT we have found a way for stable LTE and upvote -
@trwidick On xfinitymobile, did you have it activated first and it worked then you installed ubuntu touch? I guess ill wait until more bugs get fixed until i switch to pixel 3a from nexus 5
-
@unrealb2 I was unsucessful except a single text and a phone call on xfinity mobile, yes I activated with another cell phone Galaxy S9+. Then the sim said BLOCKED... After a reinstall It worked for a single phone call then said blocked. This step was repeated 4 times with all the same results. Internet did not work nor MMS. Right now Im trying to get MMS to work on Mint mobile with no sucess, but LTE internet works great.
-
@trwidick dang, thanks for the information. Hope the talk and text works soon lol I was thinking of upgrading to that phone but i just checked and my nexus 5 apparently has a faster cpu. Not sure how real world the pixel 3a feels. I know it has the octo core compared to my quad core.
-
@unrealb2 Hardware in my opinion is much better, I had a nexus 5, I think its the fact of the faster ram that helps a lot, your cpu is only as good as the rest of the hardware. Try loading a game with a ryzen 3600 with an old 4800RPM IDE HDD... Your CPU would be pointless. Another thing to note is the Pixel 3a has no video out. But please test, and help make it stronger. I do not code just test stupid things and send bug reports and give bad opinions .

@trwidick I think we can add US Cellular to the list of 'not working'
Activated brand new SIM on the Pixel 3a a few days ago at the store
Installed UT today, wifi works, the SIM is detected, if you go to System Settings -> Cellular -> Carrier and APN carrier selected shows up as 'none' but when you go into 'Carrier' it's set to 'Automatically'. The little wheel spins for a while and then it doesn't do anything. It lists US Cellular (along with Extended and some random numbers) but even if you click on Extended it doesn't ever connect. Manually entering the APN does not seem to work either. -
@crab_aesthetics Okay This is the same issue I had with xfinity Mobile. U.S. Cellular is a CDMA network carrier just like xfinity which I can not get to work. It only worked for a bit when I did a full reset of the phone, and only for a few calls. @lduboeuf

If it works let me know. Also i would open a github issue for US cellular- CDMA. Maybe some one will have an idea.
