Stuck at bootloader
-
I am using UBports on a OP6 and it works well.
But when rebooting I am often stuck on the bootscreen, telling me that the bootlader is unlocked.
After several reboots and switching the alerts slider up and down I then reach the OS,
it feels a bit like gambling....When switching to dev channel it will stuck forever and can only be recovered with using the UBports-Installer to switch to stable.
Anyone elese having the same issue?
Any workarounds or explanations for this? -
@magdesign I have experienced the same with my 6T both on stable and devel. It's the same for me on both. Sometimes it boots without problems, sometimes I need to go to fastboot and sometimes I have to boot to fastboot to go to Ubuntu recovery and from there it boots normally... It's really annoying but I've always managed to boot the device without a computer and after 10-15 tries...

Yes, on the 6T is happening the same. Does yours have issues with sms and calls after some period of usage?
-
@opaijavai Yes sometimes i have issues with sms and calls,i reboot the phone and start work.

@opaijavai @portu51 Yes, mine has the same problems with sms and calls. Works again after a reboot.

@fantastic_sky46 I have the same issue on my OP6. I tried both 0.9.8 and 0.8.8 but have the same issue. I seem unable to get to UT AT ALL unless I reflash. IMO - not yet ready as a daily use device. Have not been able to find any real help on the issue. Some have suggested a few things here/there but it doesn't fix the issue.

@ronbillock Well, most of the problems seem to be finally fixed in dev channel. No loss of signal and it now can be normally rebooted. The last thing really bugging me is the battery drain... 2%/hour is too much. Still this device is my daily driver now and I don't intend to change this.

@fantastic_sky46
great news, so i should switch to dev channel too.... -
@magdesign The fix will be in the next RC update which IIRC is Wednesday. Other than that yes Dev is the answer.
