Hi,
I've got an Aquaris E 4.5 with UBports and it's running fine, but currently my primary phone is an Xperia XA2 under SailfishOS.
For reasons I can't change, I still need to use Whatsapp on my phone, so having this Android app is mandatory, and that's why I use SailfishOS.With the end of BQ as a company and the E 4.5 being an old phone, I would like to buy a new one (not very expensive if possible) that could run UBports and Anbox, so I could have this beautiful Whatsapp app.
I had a look at the list and I understand that the promoted phones are somehow the official ones, and the other are the community ones.
I've been looking to find a OnePlus One, but it's not an easy task, and I'm a little frightened the battery or something will be old and will need a replacement soon (of course it depends on the previous users and how it has been treated).
Fairphone 2 phones are impossible to buy, at least I found none...Then there are the community ones as the Xperia X. I understand that those ports are made by contributors and I'm afraid they disappear one day without any new update and leaving the user with an old software phone.
Has anyone a recommendation about which is nowadays the best way to go and which phone to choose?
thanks for reading

@jcerdan you need to find a phone that supports waydroid .waydroid comes with android 10 and some phone (like oneplus 3t due to the old android kernel) cant run it .you can use anbox but i would not advise that.
I am running ubt on a onplus 6T works fine, issue is the battery drain and with waydroid i hardly make a full day.
there are other phones like volla etc anyway if you want to run waydroid for your android apps find a phone that supports it -
@jcerdan This is moreva general suppirt question so I have movef it to there. Thanks
