Waydroid installation

Hi all,

I’m very new here, but I’ve flashed Ubuntu Touch to a Pixel 3a. Has anyone run into difficulty installing waydroid?

Don't Knox if it Will run Well already, as it's not yet good supported on the Google pixel port. Yet.
You can try.
Best device for waydroid at thé moment is i believe the volla phone
Of cours Others may work too.
There is a waydroid telegram group as well. WayDroid (Anbox Halium)

Thanks. I was able to install it last night and play with it briefly. There was a scaling issue; the bottom buttons were halfway offscreen. Otherwise, it worked great. I plan to test drive it some more this weekend.

I think you can ad a start and close button for waydroid to your UT startscreen . I now it is possible.

@mojones It’s working great. I’m thrilled with how smoothly it runs and excited to see how the project develops. I haven’t created a launcher for it yet, but will the next time I have some free time. If only life weren’t so busy

I want to Buy a pixel 3a, but i need some bank aplictions that are in Android .

@stanwood thanks mate. I used your link and had a play.

The only thing I can't seem to do is remove useless duplicates from the ubuntu touch app drawer. I disabled the useless duplicate apps within the settings app in the waydroid instance however it doesn't remove them from the ubuntu touch drawer... sigh
