To try it, it is needed to be compiled, right?
It has to be compiled in the desktop? -
@thousandtopics no you can download it from gitlab:
- arm64 https://gitlab.com/frenchutouch/futify/-/jobs/1207516585/artifacts/browse/build/aarch64-linux-gnu/app/
- armhf https://gitlab.com/frenchutouch/futify/-/jobs/1207516582/artifacts/browse/build/arm-linux-gnueabihf/app/
Just download click file and open it with openstore to install it
Enjoy!

@manland wow, very much appreciated
-
@manland Just installed it today 10-07-21 and works like a charm. Thank you for your efforts.

Just installed this and had a play..
It seems a tad laggy on the UBports Pixel 3aXL but im sure that will mature with time.
It also weirdly took a while before it would actually play anything. i had to exit out and go back in for it to work. same thing happened when I tried to log in for the first time.
i see that some of my playlists are not showing in the top bar as well so i had to search for it to play.
Apart from those, it seems to be running quite well. thanks for the app! -
Hi, I have started using the app recently and I think that is great, however I have noticed that the app if is left on the background it will stop after a few seconds of playing, the same when the screen goes to sleep, before submiting a ticket I just want to make sure that is a bug and not a setting or something that I am missing I am currently missing version 1.0.0.
Talking about features, I am not sure how feasible a sleep function is, but as someone that enjoys playing music while falling sleep, I think it would be a great addition, it would also be a good idea to display the app version on the about section of the app just to make easy to find this info for debug or inputs coming from testers.
Amazing work regards.

@migue5862 Hi, it's not a bug but a feature
You need to make futify unsuspendable in UTTT. Because in UT all apps are "stopped" when phone is sleeping (to economize battery). Download "UT tweak tool" in the store. Search futify in apps and select "unsuspendable"
About the sleep feature, can you explain a bit more what you have in mind please? Or better open a ticket in https://gitlab.com/frenchutouch/futify/-/issues if you can/want

@manland Great, I figured I was missing something, currently is working as it should thanks!!
-
but can i also playing offline (Download) Spotify songs?
And the playing song, is that in buffer to save mobile data?
-
Hi, I just installed it on a pixel 3a, it works very well so far.
thanks a lot for your great work!just one annoying point, when you click to play a playlist, it takes minutes before starting and you think it doesn't work. Maybe it download everthing before playing?
-
@anonymoustly "playing offline" is not implemented today, but I have a way to do it... Just need time! The data is not cached but it should be easy to add an in memory buffer, please open an issue in gitlab to follow this topic
@thierry83 "minutes" seems really to big. No song are pre-downloaded so the app does nothing when you click on play. Maybe the first song is really long to download. When you click on "play", futify create a playlist in media-hub and media-hub start to download first song, when there are some bytes of song, it play it.

-
@manland Thank you very much for your work, this is a truely awsome app
-
Hi, will it support spotify connect in the future? Some wok was already done with Hutspot, maybe the source needed is already there?
-
-
Just a litlle note to let you know Futify is now translatable . If you speak a second language, please consider adding it in futify before the next release
To do it you need to copy
en_EN.ts
from https://gitlab.com/frenchutouch/futify/-/tree/master/i18n rename intoYOUR_CODE.ts
and translate all target balise in it. Then make a merge-request. Tha's allAnd please don't forget to add your in open-store for Futify! It have only 6 we need to increase that as soon as possible

Hi, tried it out for a bit on focal Lenovo X605F and seems to work fine, nice work! Is there a plan to work on spotify connect support? I've managed to turn my tablet into a hacky always on spotify wifi receiver using librespot in a libertine container, would be also nice if I could control it directly from that tablet, not just from other devices
