Bricked my old BQ m10 fhd
-
Hello There,
I wanted to retry UBports after a while and followed the instructions for legacy android devices as suggested by the ubports-installer.
All went well, except that I did not realize I had downloaded the wrong rom : I flashed the m10 hd one (cooler) instead of the version for m10 fhd (frieza). Yeah I know... don't try that kind of thing with a baby on your lap...Of course my tablet is now bricked... I tried to flash the right rom with SP flash tool, but it doesn't seem to work.
Is there something I can do or my device is good for trash ?Thanks,

Does it still power on? Does it boot into the bootloader or "fastboot mode"? If so, you can recover it from there (link to TWRP).

@leod ouh. I did that once.
You need to flash the proper rom with the SP Flash Tool (the link is in the instructions page). Plug the tablet even if turns screen on black.
In my case (about 4 years ago) I had to use a Windows machine and a ¿usb 2.0? port -
I finally manage to get it right : flashing the frieza rom did not work, but I could flashed the android 6 one that I found on old hard drive. Starting from there I successfully flashed the frieza rom containing UBports !
Happy to try all the work done since I bought my BQ M10 ubuntu edition -
