my galaxy s10e randomly started bootlooping about 2 weeks after installing ubuntu touch
-
this started when my phone ran out so I plugged it into a charger and turned it on and the boot looping started
-
@amy Can youn switch the phone off and leave it charging for a few hours just as a check that the battery has not failed? Only it sounds similar to when the battery went on my OPO. Just a thought.
-
@lakotaubp tried charging the thing for a day straight and it made no difference
-
@amy OK can you tell if the battery is actually charged fully and what happens if you connect to pc/laptop and try the installer again?
-
@lakotaubp the galaxy s10 port doesn't support the ubports installer yet you have to do it manually and I can't get into download mode or recovery mode
-
@amy OK not familier with this device at all as you can tell and should have checked. In this case then best to contact the porter or wait for someone else with the device to answer.

Bootloops can be broken via ADB Tools by giving the phone a command to boot into Fastboot mode : Have you tried that ?
Have you also tried booting with Volume Down + Power button pressed ?
In case the above doesn't help : Just look for other ways to break the Bootloop and one of them should work!

@nero355 the phone is not being detected by adb while on the Samsung logo screen or download mode, the ubports port hasn't gotten adb working yet too

@Amy On my note 9 I need to turn off the decive (not restart, just off) and then once it's off for few minutes, I press volume down and plug USB which is attached to PC and I get into download mode. Have u tried that?
