APN Settings.

Are the APN settings for Ubports the same as those with Android?
Thanks!

@tupp I am on Straight Talk in USA, (AT&T),it found the APN, I just change the Name setting from tfdata to straight Talk,for no real reason

Thank you @Marathon2422 and @Flohack!
The reason why I am asking about APN settings, is that I am considering going with Mint Sim as a carrier, and they specify certain manual settings.
Will the Android settings shown in the above link also work with Ubports?
Thanks!

@tupp I cannot see a problem,just check you can send /receive pics,in messages.

@tupp Now that you name it, I cannot remember where these settings could be made in UT - anyone?

APN settings are in System Settings / Mobile / Carriers
I never had to set APN though

For IOS, Android and Windows Mobile, there are differences in the APN information and the way that it is entered with each of those platforms.
Since Mint Sim (the carrier) seems to have no clue about Ubuntu Touch (nor to have any inclination to correspond directly with customers on technical matters), just checking if I can send/receive pics could be a costly and time-consuming gamble for me.
However, since Mint Sims rates are so low, the reward is attractive. I might "bite the bullet" and buy a 3-month plan to see if I can make it work with my Ubuntu Touch phone.

Thanks!
