@cliffcoggin You cannot change your fingerprint, but you can change your password if needed.

Offline charging now fixed in a way that its safe to use

-
So seems FP reader can be fixed with a workaround :pen:
-
Fingerprint sensor workaround is committed and should be in the image in 1-2 days...

Verrrry nice! Is that workaround something that might also be appliccable for other devices that have a fingerprint sensor?
-
@moem yes indeed. It helps only though for the siuation that registering/enrolling fingerprint works, but the lock method cannot be selected. That affects at least also the Nexus 6P but there we need to upgrade to Halium 9 first

-
Fingerprint works good for me (Oneplus 5T).
I m on Version 24 (Release-Kandidat 2022-W04).
Thx for your work! -

No RC is fine if note app does not crash
we release another RC today so then should be all good -

It won't, because I don't use it.

... Man! Fingerprint unlocking! So cool!

@moem Its cool but its not very reliable: Lomiri punishes a "bad read" or "partial fingerprint" message from the container with letting you enter the PIN only
And before a PIN has been received you cannot do any FP unock anymore. -
Yes works very much when it feels like it. Nice suprise when it does though.

I don't care. If I don't like it, I can disable it. For now, I love it to bits.

-
@moem Reverts back to four digit pin anyway so your never quit sure which one you will get

-
@lakotaubp It seems pretty reliable for me... maybe you guys just have weird fingers!

-
@moem The fingers are fine. It's the prints I can't quite fake accurately yet

@flohack
sorry for restoring this old thread.
After successfully flashing UT without using TWRP and on top of android 10.0.1 everything works fine, but I have no wifi.
Networks are detected, it shows: connected, but there is no sign in the indicator, and no ip-adress shown. is this a known issue?
I already switched to rc-channel, but no change. -
@messayisto Hi, no this is not okay, WiFi was working always very reliable with the OP5T, no clue what this could be. We also flash vendor partition to have a sane baseline for our OS. That includes the wifi drivers etc.
Does it stay connected, or you loose connection almost immediately? -
@flohack It stays connected (but not in the indicator line), but it is not connected at all. By the way its not the 5T, but the 5 model.
-
@messayisto Did you try on an alternative Wifi? For example I have several devices here which cannot pair with my office WLAN... Since we use Cisco APs and they have certain stuff blacklisted, though I never found out what it is.
