Install UT on merlin (redmi note 9) : no access to the sim card
-
I have a problem after installing Ubuntu touch (16.04) on a redmi note 9 (Xiaomi M2003J15SC).
Installation goes through (UBports recognizes the device as "merlin") and after booting there is no access to the sim card from the device. No sign (strength) of the radio cell, nothing.
What can I do?
Is there a way, if this does not work, to reinstall the Android image?Thanks a lot!

I get Android back on the device... THX

Usual problem is using the stable channel. If you had tried the release candidate (RC) channel you would get the SIM card(s) recognized.

@mrt10001
Maybe phones which are not full supported, at least on the telephony part, should not have a stable channel, only a RC one. -
@keneda I have this problem on my Note 7 and Redmi 7. I can go to the release channel and all works and then go back to stable and it works sometimes or doesn't.
